- Samen met partners nodigen wij ook regionale (NRW) inkopers en projectontwikkelaars uit van machinebouw- en automotive bedrijven.
- Op basis van persoonlijk intakegesprek met iedere deelnemer customized doelgroep benadering voor het event.
- Een mini-beurs, centraal gelegen in NRW met een Hollands tintje, een historische molen als locatie, incl. interessante lezingen om de Duitse doelgroep te “triggeren” o.a. over strategische inkoop en optioneel professionele fotoshoot voor social media doeleinden.

Tuesday, 16th May 2017 i2i and psps consultants were organizing the first B2B event “Metal Meets – Holland meets NRW” in Oberhausen. The event took place in the charming location Baumeistermühle - Il Carpaccio, an old windmill in Dutch style.
The first part of the program was for the Dutch companies. It started with a presentation about facts and figures of the German metal industry to provide an overview to the Dutch participants. Afterwards, Carmen Quinders held a presentation about the role and importance of social media channels such as LinkedIn or Xing to get and stay in contact with German companies.
In the second part of the event, buyers from German automotive and engineering companies joined the Dutch participants in the Baumeistermühle. After a welcoming presentation by Mr. Lerch, managing director of the technology centrum in Oberhausen, including little snacks and drinks. The event continued with a short presentation about Industry 4.0 in comparison to Smart Industry – challenges for automotive and engineering held by Peter van Harten.
After the presentations it was time for individual conversations between the different parties. B2B conversations were followed by different rounds of culinary delights.
In addition, the offering of a Social Media photoshoot enjoyed great popularity and the participants kept the photographer busy during the whole afternoon.
From the feedback we received on and after the event, it became clear that the event was a big success for the Dutch and German participants and hence also for psps consultants.
Therefore, we are happy to announce that there will be a second edition of Metal Meets in 2018!
