Trade Mission Logistics – GERMANY meets BELUX

On behalf of the Foreign Market Entry Programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) psps consultants organised in cooperation with AHP International GmbH & Co. a trade mission for twelve logistics companies from Germany. The mission took place 6 – 9 November 2017 in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The participants were a mix of young logistics IT-start-ups, freight forwarders, TMS and telematics providers that were interested to learn more about the logistics sector in Belgium and Luxemburg and get in contact with local companies. During the trade mission, there have been the opportunity for individual business meetings. These meetings were organised centrally (matchmaking events) as well as individually. During the four-day mission, the delegation visited the logistics hotspots Antwerp, Liège and Luxembourg City (see programme trade mission).

On 7 November 2017, there our presentation and networking event:

"Get Connected: Think Beyond Borders"

took place in the new harbor building in Antwerp. The objective of this one-day conference was to provide a platform connecting local businesses, logistics cluster representatives and political decision-makers with companies from the German logistics sector. Furthermore, the event had the aim to inform about market potentials in Belgium and also gave German companies the opportunity to present their companies and services.
