Royal couple meets “the economy of the future” in Munich
On Wednesday the 13th April 2016, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander and Her Majesty Queen Máxima have payed a working visit to Bavaria with the aim to strengthen relations between Bavaria and the Netherlands .
As part of their journey to the Land of Bavaria, the King and Queen visited the city of Munich and Nuremberg. They were accompanied by Lilianne Ploumen, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation. She led the two-day economic mission with the slogan: “The economy of the future”, with a strong focus on high-tech industry (medical technology and eHealth, smart industry and urban mobility) and the agri-food and logistics sectors.
The trade mission was organized by the Dutch ministry of economics, with support of psps consultants export & investment services that connected German and Dutch companies with an fruitful matchmaking event in the Deutsches Museum in Munich. Big players like NOKIA, VDL and Schaeffler were participating and provided a beneficial contribution to an overall successful day in Munich.
